Welcome to CY SOMMS!
The official Cyprus Sommeliers Association website is now up and running. Our website is designed in such a way to help visitors to the side understand who we are and follow our activities as an association.
Through all the years we have contributed, with all our powers, to the support of the profession of the Sommellerie and the strengthening of the Cyprus Sommeliers Association and now the CY SOMMS. Visitors to the site will follow our efforts in supporting the development of the wine industry on our island. We will also try to revolutionize the way the world thinks about wine in general.
Moreover, our website is a way of communicating directly to members and outside visitors of our activities - workshops, seminars, tastings, educational trips - and our comprehensive curriculum Sommelier and Wine education. Moreover, we will offer networking opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills and to promote a vibrant wine community.

The 2ND Open Balkan BSC Sommelier Challenge Historical Victory
BALKAN SOMMELIER CHALLENGE – CYPRUS VICTORY
The Serbian Sommelier Association once again hosted the 2nd competition for the best sommelier of the Balkans – Balkan Sommelier Challenge. From October 27th to 29th in 2022, Serbia was the place to measure the knowledge and skills of top sommeliers. In the Belgrade Hyatt Regency Hotel, the Serbian Sommelier Association hosted 28 foreign sommelier delegations and seven international judges.
